Familarization of electronic component – Transistor

Objective:

How to use the electronics component diode and to measure the junction voltage.

Theory:

A transistor is a semiconductor device obtain by sandwiching a p or n type semiconductor material, between a pair of n-type and n-type semiconductor material respectively. It is used to amplify and switch electronic signals and electronic power. It is composed of semiconductor material with at least three terminals for connection to an external circuit. These three terminals for connection to external circuit. These three terminals are called emitter, base, collector. A voltage or current applied to a pair of the transistor terminals changes the current through other pair of terminals. Because the controlled power a transistor can amplify a signal.

Conclusion:

A transistor is an electronic useful device that amplifies signals. By observations, it is evident that VE is always greater than VCB. It happens because the emitter highly dropped.
